Blush Tones — because I’m blushing! Haha! :-)

Wearing my overlap trousers because I feel like I had to wear something other than shorts.  I have a few trousers but I’m still afraid of wearing them. Something that’s not “skin tight” scares the crap out of me. Whatcha think? Yay or nay?!

It is just now that I discovered my blouse is (sort of) asymmetrical. Baggy looking, no?! Short sleeved on the right and not so much on the left. Basic sheer tops need not be overly basic. Teehee!

Bubbles accessories. I had a few exchange of messages with Tati, the lady behind Bubbles. She’s uber nice! Check out some of their accessories and their albums too. You’ll definitely see some familiar faces there including mine. Haha!

300 greetings on Facebook and Twitter. Meeting friends from around the world; my wall looks like a United Nations conference. Coolio! I’m overwhelmed with “Happy Birthday” posts yesterday and gifts as well! I feel loved! Teehee! My bosses greeted me too. How nice of them! :-)

Today, boyf and I headed to Dottie’s Place to attend a practice for BDC’s Nursing Night. Seeing students and clinical instructors reminded me so much of my college days. The never ending practice, extension threats, tasks at hand, stuff like that. Oh, the life of a nursing student! Tomorrow’s gonna be fun for sure!

Hello everybody!

Not what I’m wearing today but these happy colors would do for me! They remind me of jellybeans, seriously. It would’ve looked cute with the afternoon sun or me twirling in the middle of the street but guess what, the weather’s just too unkind. :-(

My one and only midi skirt.. Yes, I know.. Loser me!

Keeping accessories to a minimum. I love this gold skinny belt though. It saved me from this skirt dropping all the way to my hips.

Gray suede pumps, because everything else is full of colors! :-)

Thank you everyone for the birthday greetings! What a surprise that I even reached 200+ greetings on Facebook alone! You made my birthday such a blast.. Thanks again!!!

Old files….. A photo I grabbed from our Sinulog album. I was feeling lazy to process photos today not to mention I still haven’t done my dream outdoor shots because it’s been raining all day. Booooo!! I’ve heard there’s flood in some parts of the city already. Doesn’t surprise me at all. I’m hoping you’re not having bad weather there whichever part of the globe you’re at.. Urrgghhh…

Now about the photo, excuse the pixel-y quality. There’s something about downloading photos in Facebook which turns the quality too bad to even upload it somewhere. Not sure about that though. It’s just a hunch.. *thinking*

Photo taken during my day of our stay in Cebu. Boyf and I had scheduled everything out and that time, he accompanied me to do my stuff. So we went from mall to mall in search for the items I’ve made a mental list of. Unfortunately, no shoes, no brow set from MAC, no cool finds at End of Season sales. However, there’s always something for me waiting at Forever 21. You could very well tell from my January Haul right?! Teehee!

My feet was seriously aching walking around from rack to rack. I just had to remove my shoes and spend a good few minutes barefoot inside the fitting room. Do you have similar experiences?! :-)

Speaking of Forever 21, I ain’t gonna be 21 tomorrow… (Insert sad face here!) One can’t be forever 21, it’s a big fat lie! Hahaha!!

A snuggly outfit to wear for a weird weather that’s sunny by morning, rainy at afternoon.

Remember the time when I’ve been talking about not knowing what to wear because the season is very much unpredictable? Well, it’s on repeat now. As much as I’d like to hate it, I can’t. I’m grateful for the short episode of sunshine. That way, we keep our city afloat — not submerged in flood water. Eewie!

You might be fed up with the place where I take my photos but worry not, coz if the sun’s out tomorrow for sure I’d take a risk and grab the chance going outdoors. How I miss those days!

This happens when the photographer slash the boyf and I are having a little chitchat in the midst of taking photos. Rarely happens huh?!

Now these are the prettiest comfiest booties on earth!

I’ve blogged about these before during Gold Dot’s Holiday Sale or something like that. I even mentioned Kami as my fave pick. Now, thanks to their Flash Sale I got these kicks at 70% off! Thanks a lot Allypots and Karl!

More Galaxy Print Please!

Galaxy print dress, PINKaholic. Skeleton-heeled booties, Heel and Sole. Necklace, Bubbles. 

So I’ve heard every blogger is going gaga over galaxy prints. Well guess what, me too!! :-)

In the spur of galaxy print craze, I was able to hoard a few pieces. Three items to be exact. This dress, a 3/4-sleeved top, and a drapey top with a peachy hue. Cheers to our innate instict to hoard whatever it is that we love!

It doesn’t hurt that this top is fully-lined. Turning this one into a dress because I’m vertically challenged is a no-brainer move, no?!

I need a good place to get photos of my outfit whenever outdoor isn’t part of the option. I could honestly say that I didn’t totally dig this place but I don’t hate it either. I prefer this one than doing the night strobing thing. It’s hard to catch a good shot. Nevertheless, I’m in no position to complain. All together now, blame it on the weather!

Would you ever believe me if I told you I wore this top in Cebu sans the boots?! Talk about freedom and yes, self-expression! Now I’m exaggerating.. Oops! :-)

Another badass boots from Heel and Sole! I haven’t taken these babies out for a road test yet. They look scary. What do you think?!

I’m still getting used to the old platform. Forgive the unsightly view of my blog, I need to endure this whole process of overhaul. We haven’t picked out a theme yet. And, to make matters worse, doing blogging routine can be quite a pain in the a**. You know how I love those cute evil-looking smileys and the Verdana font. Losing both is overwhelming! Booooo!!

Hello dearies! Here’s my LOTD. Well not what I’m really wearing today, more like yesterday’s look.

First of all, I know we are all giddy for summer. Some of you may have been starting to collect swimwear and anything summer-inspired items but….I suggest we should not let go of our baggy sweaters and jackets yet. This news goes out to all Filipinos out there. It’s been raining for weeks now and it feels like crap to be honest. Teehee! :-)

Fear not, just because the weather sucks doesn’t mean we’ll ditch our creative pegs. With the rainy season staying for a tad bit long, I’m thinking of wearing my jackets, leggings, tights, and most especially my sweaters over and over again. While it does leave us with a few choices, that’s prolly the time where you could hone your mixing and matching skills. Haha!

Perfect for the cold weather!

Looks like I’ll stoop on this front porch for a while. Not literally though… Oh well!

As promised, here’s what I wore last Tuesday or better yet known as the VDay. Lol! The event calls for ladies to wear to wear red dress or red shoes or both if you’re crazy like that. Haha! So among the two options, I chose red kicks of course! I had been doing a tiny bit of shoe-hunting weeks before the date. Success, I found one for moi! :twisted:

Errr, am I smiling? Wth?!!

Now about the look, I got this dress from PINKaholic’s Valentine collection last year. Didn’t bother to buy any new dress as I’m saving it all for the shoes. The dress, I had it adjusted to fit my size thanks to Steph! Because it’s plain and textured, it wouldn’t hurt to use heavy accessories such as these long gold chains from Bubbles. Laveeeeet! ;-)

Asymmetry.

I’m feeling all feminine that time. Not only am I giddy about wearing something out of the box but hey, I’m wearing a freakin’ dress! Rarely happens. And by rarely, I mean it doesn’t happen that much. Seriously. :-?

Found the perfect pair and it’s L-O-V-E!

I was actually crushing on a DAS 14; Anne Curtis has a customized pair of those too wherein she wore it loud and proud at her concert, see here. I wanted DAS 14 in RED but then it would take 2 weeks or so to make one. Now that I have to pass. Thanks to Sureen for being so friendly, she answered all my queries. Quality ain’t even an issue here coz it’s worth it aaaaand it is uber comfy too. These babies serve as my birthday gift to myself… Awwww… Hahaha! Love this pair to bits! :mrgreen:

These are just some of the items I bought during our not-so-recent trip in Cebu!

Knitted cardigan… Can’t get enough of knits!

Got in for less than a grand. Cool beans!

Scene of the crime after removing all the tags and that string they attach underneath the shoulder part. Learned my lesson already; remove it before it makes a mess showing up in your photos!

 Sometimes, you don’t always have to buy what’s the “latest” in the rack. Discount items are the best (for me)! Overall, I enjoyed my hunt for cool finds even if it accounts endless strolls, tiresome fitting,  and loooong walks rummaging from rack to rack. Which of the stuff is your favorite?

Look of the Day and my official 400th blog post. Eeeek! I blog too much and the fact that my blog ain’t even a year old yet makes the thought worse. Lol!

When everyone’s dressing up in girly, dressy, and feminine, I like to veer away from the expected by wearing something different. I’ve had this full-length buttondown since new year came. Finally got to wear them, in a look to say the least. I don’t think I’ll be able to wear this out while rolling around the city or something like that. Nope. Can’t. Dare.

Photo heavy post today. I guess that’s what a teeny tiny hangover does to you. Or me? :roll:

Lookbook friends noticed my new hair color. So far, comments were good. What do you think?! :-?

Yesterday was a blast. Yes, you could tell even before you read this post thru my title. Haha! Heavy dinner, early drinking sesh after boyfie’s gig  results to a rather early exit. I was home before 1AM. Scary! We rarely go home at that time. That’s too early for us. Overall, I had fun at “VDay”. Boyf was and is sweeeeeet.. Lol! :mrgreen:

Anyway, as I had tweeted, I wore my DAS 16. I was aghast that with all its 6-inch glory it is surprisingly comfortable. I survived standing half the entire night. Oh well, the wonders of good quality and lovely shoes. Can I just say uh-mazing?! ;-)

My bad.. Excuse the not so busy look as I haven’t had the time to take an outfit shot of what I’ll be wearing tonight. Booooo! Yes, the rain has been on going crazy switching on and off tirelessly. Hopefully it will be another story tomorrow. Good weather puhleeze!

In love with this top! I don’t even want to wear it because I don’t want it to be washed up and stretched out. It’s a bit pricey compared to other F21 stuff, but I think it’s worth it because the fabric is loooove and the diamond-looking studs are all over the shirt. Yep, even the back part has studs too! Teehee! :mrgreen:

So I know the details here are cuh-razy! Embellished, mesh leggings, snakeskin pumps, tassles.. I was in such hurry that I did not bothered to check if it looks okay as a whole. Lol!

Accessories galore! This tassel necklace is my personal fave among the bunch I recently got!

 

How’s your Valentine’s day going?! As for Charcoal Monkey and I, we just had an early dinner at a Chinese restaurant. Buffet meals made us super full. Baboy syndrome is kicking in at this very moment! Urrgggghhh!! :roll:

Thankful hubby is still being oh so patient with me and my tantrums. I knoooooow right?! I was acting like a total brat yesterday that I did not expect this day would be okay. Haha! We’ll be going out in a little while too. Lalaloooove it!

Hello outdoors again! The sun came a little later after lunch today so there’s not much time to waste. A good hour or two and it’s all gloomy again.

As I was sorting out my stuff choosing which ones to sell and which one gets to stay, I came across this top. It’s got a peter pan collar and a great mustard color. I figured I’ll use it for my 365 for the last time before I’ll let this one go. Heeee! :mrgreen:

Is my hair okay?! It’s not yet too late to do the ombre thingy right?! I’ll chop the ends off when I get tired of it anyway. Lol!

 There’s always a need to know what’s going on in your surroundings, I’m like that! Thus, the title again. And I hate it whenever I lose or maybe get out of touch with something. I feel like I’ve been ployed even if it really isn’t the case. I guess I’m the most irrational person you’ll ever know and oftentimes it makes me wonder why my significant others can survive such occurrences. OR better yet, we could blame it to the hormones. As you know, PMS can take its toll on me sometimes. You could really tell that from my blog posts. I could easily get mad with the simplest of things or cry for the wrong reasons. We’ve all been there and ladies for sure could totally relate. (I think!)

Back to shooting indoors. Feeling bad about it, really! :cry: Hopefully, it won’t rain tomorrow. I ran out of stock photos already.

When shooting indoors, we always opt for the purple light on the flash. A combination of red and blue gel resulting to none other than purple. Heeee!

This look was the look I submitted for Style Bible’s Blogger Challenge in their trendspotting segment. Maybe this set wasn’t clear enough, good thing I had a back up photo of me wearing the detachable collar way back our PINKaholic shoot. You could read the whole article here. Uh huh! That’s me on page 8! Lol! :mrgreen:

Oh btw, I had my hair retouched today. Hair color freak in me kicking in. Yes to my now brown roots and blonde tips!

Sweaters… I’m still wearing them til now even though the summer is just around the corner. Everyone here in Butuan gets away with it. Why? When you are greeted by rainfall all day, you can’t help it. Jackets and sweaters are the thing here! Haha!

I actually wore this one last day I think. I’m making the most out of my sweaters and knits because they will be dumped again once the season changes. Booooo! :-?

I look mad, no?! Another metallic item a.k.a the Wicked Weakness! :mrgreen:

I’m wearing the NYX Matte Lip Cream in Antwerp here. I’m exchanging pinks and peaches now. Will pull off a red pout look soon! I miss red lippies! Heeeee! :-P

I gotta confess. I miss these baby shoesies. It’s been a while. I’m always drawn to the pumps and easy to wear ones so I’d spare myself from the hassle of taking it off after snapping a few shots. I’m unfair!

 

Saturday night is no different from our Friday Night. Rainy days and bed weather makes me lethargic…sickly almost. The good thing about it is that the boyf couldn’t think of any better idea than to go for a massage! Teehee! What do I do? Close all open browsers and shut down my lappy in a heartbeat! He knows I wouldn’t say no to such offer! Thanks for the treat kweeby! Lol! :twisted:

Playing with Pastels and Dots

I miss having long titles compared to short phrases. Haha! Half of the time I spent on blogging is usually thinking about the title. The other half would have to be blamed to post-processing. Whew!

I’m back to playing with pastels too! I’m always in dark colors, edgy-ish pegs that it’s time to soften out starting with pastel colors and intricate deets. Intricate you say? Yep! Notice the scallop cut on my top? The dots and tiny gold buttons on my shorts? I think altogether they add a dash of cuteness little girl appeal. Well, at least for me… I don’t know about you guys! Lol! :mrgreen:

I rarely style my hair up in a ponytail or in a bun during outfit shots. This time I knew I had to. 

Is this “excessorizin’” already? Whatcha think? :roll:

Ooooh, by the way… Got new accessories from Bubbles! Teehee! I’m grinning from ear to ear right now. :mrgreen: Thanks to Angel of LoveYourFeet Heels. Her Bubbles pre-loved accessories are A LOT! Swear! Lucky me got to grab a few before everything went S-O-L-D!

And another sumfin’ sumfin’!

The entire pack of doggies just joined me. I guess Amber spilled the secret to them on how to sneakily pose behind me. What to do now? Almost all of the photos have at least one dog in the background, or foreground if I may say. :-?

Basic tank, Mango. Silk kimono cover up and denim highwaist shorts, Dimmy’s. Bandage wedges, Myshop IHeart. Metallic skinny belt and spiderweb-ish necklace, Forever 21.

 

I’m taking cover with cover ups! They become so handy nowadays that you need those thick ones, lightweight ones, knitted, and all other kinds that would go with whatever the weather is. 

Now this is what I’m really really wearing today. From the looks of the photos, you might notice that it’s all gloomy. I never had the chance to prepare my swatch of outfits so the best thing to do would be to take a picture of what I’m wearing right then and there. Err, yeah this is how I look like on normal days. Boring huh? :roll:

Wearing NYX Matte Lip Cream in Antwerp and topped it off with NYX Matte lipstick in Angel. All out matte!!!

After putting on my shoes and setting my slippers aside. Teehee! This old vehicle is pretty helpful! :-)

Amber got busy. She strayed too far she did not even notice we left already.. Awww, poor girl!
